Principal's Message
Dear CHS Families,
I love being the principal of CHS. I love our students—their talent, their energy, and everything they bring to our school. There’s so much potential here, and it shows every day.
We believe in giving students opportunities to get involved—sports, clubs, activities, the arts—you name it. When students get involved, they thrive. They find smaller groups, teams, and friendships that become like family, all within the bigger CHS community.
One of the things I’m most proud of is how our students embrace our diverse culture. They support each other, welcome everyone, and show respect to students of all backgrounds and abilities. That’s the kind of environment where students grow.
Our goal is to prepare students for life beyond high school—whether that’s college, a trade, the military, or straight into the workforce. We want them to leave CHS with more knowledge, more confidence, more curiosity—and to never forget the importance of kindness and resilience.
When I walk the halls of CHS, I’m proud. High school isn’t always easy—there are challenges, tough days, and moments we might want to forget. But through all of it, we’re here to support our students and help them see that high school can be one of the most memorable, meaningful experiences of their lives.
Families—I invite you to reach out. If you have a concern, an idea, or even just some great news to share about your child, we want to hear from you.
I always go back to our motto: Ramblers Rise. It reminds us that we can face the tough moments, rise above them, and come out stronger.
Once a Rambler, always a Rambler.
Joanna Joaquin,
Proud CHS Principal
