PARENTAL GUIDANCE - Rhythm and Blues SHOW BAND

The Show Band is the FUN BAND.  Modeled after the bands in the popular move “The Blues Brothers”, the show band focuses on popular commercial music of all decades. Giving our students the opportunity to get out of their concert dress and marching uniforms is the aim of the Show Band.  Funk, Disco, Pop, Rock-N-Roll, and even modern day Hip-Hop are all fair game for the Show Band to play.  Every school year culminates in the studio recording of a full length album, performed and recorded by the students of the Carteret High School Show Band.
